Leverage the power of the Motorola Solutions brand

Implement your Motorola Solutions channel partner branding consistently and correctly to maintain its selling power. There are several categories of marketing assets and collateral that can be used by Motorola Solutions channel partners.

Motorola Solutions–branded materials


In some cases, Motorola Solutions–branded materials are kept in inventory and/or made available for partners to produce and use in their marketing events and activities. 

As a Motorola Solutions channel partner, neither you nor your design agency should ever attempt to design any Motorola Solutions–branded designs yourselves. Motorola Solutions–branded materials must always be designed by the Motorola Solutions global design team or by authorized design agencies whose designs have been approved by the Motorola Solutions global design team. Speak with your Motorola Solutions channel management representative to learn about material availability.

Motorola Solutions co-branded materials


Some Motorola Solutions–branded materials have been specially designed to enable Motorola Solutions channel partners to add their company logo, contact information and/or channel partner logo. These materials should always be clearly filenamed and presented as co-branded materials, with dedicated placement fields built in for logo and text additions. 

As a Motorola Solutions channel partner, neither you nor your design agency should ever attempt to add co-branding to any Motorola Solutions–branded designs yourselves. Co-branded materials must always be designed by the Motorola Solutions global design team or by authorized design agencies.

Partner-branded materials


The majority of your marketing efforts should leverage your company’s own unique brand and design system. Although Motorola Solutions encourages partners to adapt and take inspiration from our brand messaging and narrative, you should never use Motorola Solutions branding, messaging or design elements in a way that may represent your company as a part of Motorola Solutions. 

Our guidelines document provides instructions and examples to help you correctly add your channel partner logo to partner-branded materials in order to highlight your affiliation with Motorola Solutions.

Channel partner logos

The Motorola Solutions channel partner logo highlights your company’s role as a Motorola Solutions channel partner. The logo identifies your relationship with Motorola Solutions and contains the Motorola Solutions brand signature within a special holding shape. 

There are numerous types of standard and differentiated logos that help you showcase your program level as well as your expertise in different technology segments to help you differentiate from the competition.

Work with your Motorola Solutions channel management representative to customize your channel partner logo with the right specialties and regional variations
Review the guidelines to make sure you're using the right channel partner logo design on the right types of materials
Place your company’s logo as the primary identity to convey that your company is the source of the product/service – the channel partner logo must be smaller than your company’s logo
Never create your own channel partner logo or contract external design agencies to do so

Motorola Solutions channel partner brand guidelines do not authorize partner use of the Motorola Solutions logos, including Motorola Solutions owned or licensed trademarks, including the Stylized M Logo, Motorola Solutions Logo lockup, or other Motorola Solutions–branded elements (e.g., MOTOTRBO, APX, DIMETRA, etc.). The name MOTOROLA, MOTO, MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS and the Stylized M Logo are trademarks of Motorola Trademark Holdings, LLC. These, and all other Motorola Solutions licensed or owned trademarks, along with other Motorola Solutions–branded elements, cannot be used, in whole or in part, as part of any product or service name, any trade name under which you conduct business, or as part of any Internet domain name, web address or e-mail address. A partner must be a Motorola Solutions PartnerEmpower Partner with a valid Motorola Solutions PartnerEmpower Program Agreement in place in order to use the trademarks, logos, symbols, and names (collectively, the “Motorola Solutions Marks”), content, and other visual brand elements that appear in Motorola Solutions’ materials. Your authorization to use the Motorola Solutions Marks and materials is subject to the terms and conditions of the Motorola Solutions PartnerEmpower Program Agreement. In the event of any inconsistency between these Guidelines and the Motorola Solutions PartnerEmpower Partner Program Agreement, these Guidelines shall prevail. These Guidelines may be updated or revised from time to time, and you agree to adhere to those changes.
